Jason has nearly 15 years of experience within the collegiate athletics, higher education, non-for-profit, accounting, and government industries, specializing in communications and marketing. Since November 2020, he has served as a key member of the firm’s Higher Education and Collegiate Athletics Services Team and is considered a noted thought leader and award-winning industry expert in the media relations and athletics communication industries. Jason joined the Marketing team in April 2023.

Prior to arriving at James Moore, Jason served as the Director of Communications and was an executive senior leadership team member for three years at the State of Florida’s sports development strongarm, the Florida Sports Foundation. In that position, Jason planned and directed all aspects of communications while managing and implementing all media strategies that foster the daily relationships with local, regional, and national media outlets to enhance the Foundation’s reach and impact on the sporting community in the state of Florida. Additionally, he served as an event manager for the Sunshine State Games and Florida Senior Games and helped oversee the media relationships with Major League Baseball and the Florida Grapefruit League. Jason also serves his community as an active member of the Tallahassee Sports Council.

Jason holds previous administrative and senior-level leadership positions with DePaul University, Play Treasure Coast Sports Commission, Tallahassee Community College, Georgia Gwinnett College, the Continental Athletic Conference (formerly Association of Independent Institutions), Thomas University, West Virginia University, Saint Paul’s School, and Chick-fil-A.

In October 2018, Jason was named the 2018 Outstanding Recent Alumni by Georgia College. In September 2019, he was tabbed as a recipient of the FSU Alumni Association’s Notable Nole circle which recognizes distinguished alumni under the age of 35 who have “made exceptional achievements and significant contributions to his or her profession, community/society or the university.” In February 2020, Jason was a recipient of the Tallahassee Network of Young Professional’s Golden A.C.E. 20 under 40 award.

Fun Facts

Jason was collegiate student-athlete, competing in Cross Country and Track. He was also a college mascot for two years, Thunder the Bobcat, at Georgia College.

He was born on June, Friday the 13th, and is named for the months after his birth: July, August, September, October, and November.
