Alex works primarily with our construction clients and is a member of the Construction Services Team. He provides and oversees tax return and tax planning/projection services for these clients, helping them choose the tax method and strategies that work best for their business and minimize their potential tax liability. He also has experience in real estate and healthcare accounting, handling complex matters like 1031 exchanges and cost segregation studies.

Alex comes from a family of construction and retail business owners and entrepreneurs. He often worked in these businesses while growing up, performing inventory management, accounts receivable/payable and bookkeeping duties. This firsthand experience allows him to view businesses from multiple perspectives, enhancing his approach to tax planning and preparation.

Fun Facts

A rodeo enthusiast, Alex competed in bronc and bull riding throughout high school and college across the United States and Canada. It’s also how he met his wife. Kelsey (when they both joined the Missouri Valley College rodeo team).

Alex and Kelsey live at their farm in Ocala with their son, daughter (on the way!) and three horses.
