Ben Clark one of the Tallahassee NYP’s “Top 20 Under 40”

James Moore senior manager Ben Clark has been named one of the “Top 20 under 40” by the Tallahassee Network of Young Professionals! The recipients were announced on June 4th at the organization’s Golden A.C.E. Awards & Gala.

The Top 20 Under 40 list recognizes young professionals in the community who are making a difference in the area of authentic community engagement. A member of the Leadership Tallahassee Class 40, Ben was selected based on his work serving the community both as an organization member and an individual. He serves on the board of the Omega Lamplighters, whose volunteers mentor youth males from third grade through high school on important life skills. In his role (which includes treasurer), he has helped the organization raise money, overhaul their financial accounting system and manage new grant funding as they’ve grown in size.

Ben was also cited for his work as a good neighbor, in particular with an elderly widow living nearby. He and his family have become her primary caretakers, bringing her food and taking her to doctor’s appointments and sometimes the hospital in emergencies. It’s a testament to his selflessness given the busy schedule of a senior manager (not to mention a husband and father!).
