Sibley Appointed as the Partner-In-Charge of James Moore’s Daytona Beach Office

James Moore is pleased to announce that Mike Sibley, CPA was recently appointed as the Partner-In-Charge of the firm’s Daytona Beach office, which is one of the highest management positions attainable for the firm.

Since his acceptance into the partnership in 2011, Sibley has assumed the elevated authority of leading the firm’s Accounting and Auditing team, spearheading the firm’s Lean Six Sigma service line, serving on the firm’s executive committee, and most recently, obtaining charge of the firm’s Daytona Beach office.

In his expanded role, Sibley will oversee client service provided by employees headquartered in the Daytona Beach office and contribute to the firm’s strategic planning and implementation of tactical items. He will also address financial and business performance, people management, leadership and team skills/development, and coordination of staff scheduling and utilization.

Sibley has served as a CPA and trusted business advisor for more than 15 years, serving clients in multiple industries such as manufacturing, construction, governmental entities and other commercial and professional enterprises. He holds a Black Belt certification in Lean Six Sigma, and as a result of his experience he effectively initiated and leads the firm in providing Lean Six Sigma services for clients representing a myriad of industries.

Not only has Sibley demonstrated countless substantial and appreciable qualities within James Moore, CPAs, but he has also affluently given back to the community through his memberships and engagements in the Volusia Manufacturing Association as a Board of Director; serving on the Peer Review Committee for the State of Florida; the ARC of Volusia, Inc., as the former Chairman of the Board; former treasurer of the Daytona Young Professionals Group; and graduate of Leadership Daytona.

Sibley loves to spend time with his family and enjoys golfing as a hobby. In addition, he has run several half marathons, two marathons and two triathlons.
