Karsten has over 10 years of audit and accounting experience. A member of the Nonprofit Services team, he focuses almost exclusively on nonprofit clients and has extensive knowledge of grant agreements, federal and state single audits, the Uniform Guidance and other areas of concern for the industry.

While Karsten has served a wide range of nonprofits, he particularly enjoys working with federally qualified health centers (FQHCs). Through this work he has developed in-depth understanding of their unique healthcare-nonprofit hybrid operations — making him an ideal resource for these organizations.

Outside of James Moore, Karsten continues his dedication to nonprofits. He’s a board member of Junior Achievement of Alachua County and is a volunteer mentor with Take Stock in Children.
