The wait it over – the Department of Labor has finalized the rule to increase the minimum compensation thresholds for overtime eligibility, and the changes are significant. Beginning July 1, the salary threshold will increase from $35,568 to $43,888 (annual salary) and increase to $58,656 on January 1, 2025. And this is just the beginning.
