Spencer leads audit engagements from planning through completion, overseeing engagement teams, managing budgets and timelines and serving as a key point of contact for clients. He also mentors team members and reviews their audit work for quality and accuracy. 

A member of the firm’s Government Services team, Spencer has worked extensively with municipalities and special districts of varying sizes and complexity. This experience has helped him develop a strong understanding of governmental accounting and auditing requirements and allows him to anticipate common challenges, address compliance issues proactively and provide practical guidance tailored to each client.
