Meet Roger

Roger has over 30 years of accounting experience, much of which has centered on construction industry-related companies such as contractors, real estate developers, homebuilders and engineering firms. In addition to providing traditional audit and tax services, Roger regularly advises his clients to help them improve their operations and profitability and navigate transition planning and execution. Roger has assisted with numerous business transition and continuation engagements, due diligence, tax saving strategies and cash flow analyses. He also leads the firm’s Construction Services Team.

As one of only 38 Certified Construction Industry Financial Professionals (CCIFP) in the state of Florida, Roger has a level of construction knowledge not found in most accounting firms. He is also a member of the Builders Association of North Central Florida (BANCF), the Construction Industry CPAs/Consultants Association (CICPAC), the Florida Surety Association, Sunrise Rotary Club of Gainesville and several other associations and organizations.

In addition, Roger previously served as the CFO of a construction and environmental services firm. Having spent this time in the trenches of the industry, he has a more thorough understanding of the daily challenges these companies face, including bidding and contracts provisions, cash flow challenges, bank financing and loan provisions, bonding, financial reporting, compensation plans and lien laws. He has also authored or co-authored several articles addressing issues pertinent to the construction industry.
