- Andrea is a classically trained violinist.
- She enjoys spending time with her husband, Dean, and daughters, Avery and Ella.
A certified public accountant in the state of Florida, Andrea has nearly 15 years of experience solving complex tax-related and accounting problems for a variety of organizations. While her clients include university-related entities and private businesses, her primary focus is on the nonprofit industry.
As the firm’s Nonprofit Tax Director, Andrea has expert knowledge of the Federal Information Return Form 990 and performs the review of this form for of all of our clients, from ensuring its proper completion to analyzing revenue sources for potential unrelated business income. She also has extensive knowledge of alternate investments, such as hedge funds and private equity funds, and the reporting challenges they present with regards to timing and disclosure guidelines.
Andrea is a member of the College Athletic Business Management Association (CABMA) and the National Association of College and University Business Officers (NACUBO). In addition to her client service, she teaches multiple internal and external courses related to tax implications and serves as the accountant and bookkeeper for The Trilogy School in Gainesville.
