Business Valuation

Business Valuation

How do you place a value on years of investment?

Typically, business owners spend a considerable amount of their lives building their business. In addition to time and money, they also invest their ideas. They sacrifice vacations and time with family to pursue their passion.

As advisers with years of accounting, tax and litigation support experience, our team is well positioned to report on the value of a business.

Whether we are hired by a law firm or by a direct party, we maintain our independence, providing an unbiased opinion.

Some of the situations where we have provided support include:

* Estate & Gift Taxation
* Marital Dissolution
* Mergers & Acquisitions
* Succession Scenarios
* Exit Strategies

Relying on our team’s combined accounting expertise in conjunction with defined valuation methodologies, our goal when providing valuations is to provide our clients with a number that can be defended upon examination. In order to do this, our professionals have pursued additional training to become Certified Valuation Analysts, as defined by the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts (NACVA). These individuals are also accredited in business valuation and financial forensics, as defined by the AICPA. Our Business Valuation Team provides valuations in accordance with the regulations and guidance established by the Internal Revenue Service and other authorities.
