Jay started with James Moore & Co., P.L. in 1993 after spending two years with an international accounting firm. He received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting in 1989 and a Master of Accounting in 1990 from the University of Florida. In 2001, Jay became a Member/Owner of the Firm.
A certified public accountant in the state of Florida, Jay brings extensive experience in healthcare, automotive, real estate, construction, start-up, professional services and many other industries to the Firm. The scope of services rendered includes: financial statement audits, reviews, compilations, tax return preparation, tax planning, business valuations, business consulting and accounting system reviews.
Jay has been instrumental in the development and teaching of auditing and supervision continuing professional education classes with the Firm. He has exceeded the continuing education requirements.
Jay's approach is to understand the client's business issues and proactively find solutions to those issues. He strives to assist his clients with maximizing profits while minimizing taxes. Jay provides each client with respect, integrity and technical excellence (RITE).
